Derawar Fort

Derawar fort is the largest square fort in desert of cholistan 130 Km away from Bahawalpur in south. It was first time made by Rai Jajja Bhatti a Rajput ruler in 9th century. The parameter of wall is 1500 meter and height is 30 meter.

Initially the fort was known as Dera Rawal, but with the passage of time came to pronounced Derawar.

In 18th century the fort was captured Nawab of Bhawalpurs. It was renovated by Abbasi Rulers. The derawar is very important place for tourists. Every year jeep rally held near the derawar fort and thousand tourist came here to explore this area.

Sozo Water Park (Lahore)

Sozo Water Park is the Pakistan’s first and largest water park that was first opened for the public on 18 May, 1988. Lahore sozo water park is the one of own kind water park in Lahore. Kaghan Valley

Kaghan Valley is an alpine-climate valley in Mansehra District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan. The tourists from across the country come to visit this place. The valley extends 155 kilometres (96 mi), rising from an elevation of 2,134 feet (650 m) to its highest point, the Babusar Pass, at 13,690 feet (4,170 m)

This 160 kilometer long valley is most popular summer holiday spots for both Pakistanis as well as foreigners.The valley features pine forests, alpine meadows, crystal clear lakes and cool mountain streams. Kunhar River, the main feature of the valley, is famous for its trout. Nestled along the banksll‘of the river are the towns of Balakot, Paras, Mahandari, Kaghan and Naran. The local people are friendly and simple.

They take their herds of cattle to the high pastures of the upper Kaghan fling and bring them down again in autumn. While going to Kaghan you will find them camped along the road in their traditional tents or moving up and down the valley with their herdtsiloaipack animals, sheep and goats.

The best time to visit Kaghan Valley is during the Summer season (May to September). Because In Winter, the glaciers blocks the roads leading to Kaghan Valley and these glaciers melts during February to April. From May to the end of September, the roads and Babusar Pass remain open. In May, the temperature is maximum 11 °C and minimum 3 °C

Kallar Kahar

kalar Kahar is situated 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) from the city of Chakwal, in District Chakwal of province Punjab, Pakistan. It is located about 125 kilometers (78 miles) from the city of Rawalpindi. Kallar Kahar is famous for Kallar Kahar Lake, Takht-e-Babri and beautiful species of peacocks. It is also famous for its natural gardens which are full of colorful flower and plants.

Kallar Kahar Lake is the most important reason for Kallar Kahar to be famous among tourists. It is a salt water lake. Situated at an altitude of 1500ft above sea level the lake is spread over an area of 8 kilometers. The maximum depth of lake is 4-5 feet. People enjoy pedal boating and motor boating on the lake. They also come here to spend picnics and holidays.

The famous Mughal emperor Zahir-ud-Din Babar encamped in Kallar Kahar with his armies, when he was marching from Kabul to attack on Delhi with his armies. During his stay, a throne was built for him by cutting a big rock, where he addressed his army. Later the throne was named “Takht-e-Babri”. It still exists in Kallar Kahar and working as a popular tourist attraction.

People traveling from Lahore to Islamabad, prefer to stay here for recreation at the bank of salty water Lake. A number of farm houses are being built in this subdivision. It may become a central location for residence, business and markets in future.

Neela Wahn is a village in subdivision (Tehsil) of Kalar Kahar of District Chakwal in Punjab, Pakistan. Kalar Kahar Tehsil is a tourist destination located 25 kilometres southwest of Chakwal along the motorway. It is notable for its natural gardens, peacocks and a saltwater lake. It is 125 km away from Rawalpindi. The local people of Kallar Kahar called it “Chasma-ab-e-Shifa”, because of its clean blue water like a crystal.

Neela Wahn is heart of natural water falls and fresh water streams. It’s an ideal location for hiking and camping activities.This is the main water fall and its very difficult to reach this point. This water fall active in moon soon season usually in July/Aug/Sep or sometimes its active until Oct and Nov also. But worry not even if this water fall is inactive there many other waterfalls too.

Khunjerab Pass (Pak-China Border)

Khunjerab Pass is a high mountain pass on the northern border of Pakistan with China, at an elevation of 4.733 meters (15,528 feet) above the sea level. The Khunjerab Pass is the highest border-crossing in the world and the highest point on the Karakoram Highway. Its name is derived from two words of the local Wakhi language ‘Khun’ means Blood and ‘Jerav’ means a creek coming from spring water/water falling.

Khunjerab Pass is located in the Karakoram Mountains in a strategic position on the northern border of Pakistan’s Gilgit–Baltistan Hunza-Nagar District on the southwest border of the Xinjiang region of China.This section of the road was completed in 1982.

During the rainy season (December-April), because of mudslides the pass is closed to all vehicles except large trucks. So choose your time carefully. Since June 1, 2006, there has been a daily bus service across the boundary from Gilgit, to Kashgar, Xinjiang.

This is one of the international borders where left-hand traffic (Pakistan – administered Gilgit-Baltistan) changes to right-hand traffic (China).

Nanga Parbat

Nanga Parbat, locally known as Diamer is the ninth highest mountain in the world at 8,126 metres (26,660 ft) above sea level. Located in the Diamer District of Pakistan’s Gilgit Baltistan region, Nanga Parbat is the western anchor of the Himalayas.
The name Nanga Parbat is derived from the Sanskrit words nagna and parvata which together mean “Naked Mountain”. The mountain is locally known by its Tibetan name Diamer or Deo Mir, meaning “Huge Mountain”.

Nanga Parbat was first climbed, via the Rakhiot Flank , on July 3, 1953 by Austrian climber Hermann Buhl, a member of a German-Austrian team.In 1984 French climber Lilliane Barrard became the first woman to summit Nanga Parbat. After 31 people died attempting to climb Nanga Parbat before it’s 1953 first ascent, it was nicknamed the “Killer Mountain.”
